2004

My year 10 was the best year i'd had at school yet. I was happy with my classes and glad to be doing as much work with computers as I could. I was introduced to web design, and it is still my favourite computer hobby. If it weren't for then I doubt I would have created this website, so count yourself lucky.

I played soccer for Hay Park United in the under 16’s team as goalkeeper. I enjoyed it thoroughly, and we even won the league. It was my first year as dedicated goalkeeper, I was officially number 1.

I had been registered with a Bunbury social club called the Police Rangers. You could say it was similar to scouts, but it was in it's own league. It was run by the police force, and meets took place at the local PCYC. I learned a lot from taking part in this, and also enjoyed every moment. Things we might work on or do include abseiling, rock-climbing, camping and bush skills. My favourite thing about it was the go-karting, as we were eligible to use the Bunbury kart track. The only requirement was that we marshal kart races each meet which was once every few weekends. It was great because we could get out, meet new people, help the kart club, watch motor racing and even get free lunch. We also travelled around the state to abseil and rock-climb. A trip to Falls Creek in NSW took place, where some people attended and went skiing, snowboarding and rolling in snow. 2004 was my last year with the Police Rangers.

Tarantinos was bought by new owners, the menu was changed to Californian grill and the décor was changed along with the cuisine. I helped the chef make a hole in the wall, to create an attractive window, as to give customers a clear view into the kitchen to see how their food was prepared.

2006 was a good year at the beach. I would often wake up at 4:30 am and head to the beach to choose from a smorgasbord of surf spots where I could take a morning dip, watch the sun come up and put my bodyboard to the test. Though i only ever went to the same surf spot anyway. This was all not too long after banging on my mates window to get him out of bed and into the swell.
Yallingup was my favourite beach as it has a nice choice of spots to surf. 4 unique spots all within 150 metres of each other, you can't go wrong. It is still my favourite beach.
