2005 - 2006

2006

My leavers year at school was definitely the best year of my school history. Obviously because I could count the number of weeks left until I could eventually kiss school and the 13 years before it goodbye. I graduated high school with average grades and received my certificate 1 in Hospitality (kitchen operations). I took part in 2 different work experiences, one was at South Western Times newspaper production and the second at a Print and pre-press company called Design Print. I discovered Photoshop during this time, and have used it ever since. I can now say that my 2 favourite computer activities are Web Design and Digital Graphic Design.

I once again attended country week for Bunbury Senior High school as goalkeeper in the soccer team. We finished second only loosing 1 game against the eventual winners. So it was a total cracker! It was most likely the best week of that year for me. Only because I didn't go to my Leavers celebrations which rules that week out :(. But I would have spent a week sourth of Bunbury at a Beach town called Yallingup. But a week of soccer was good enough for me and all my memories of it are good.
I played soccer for the South West Phoenix Football club, after I qualified through the youth trials. I was either going to play for a local Bunbury seniors club, or for Phoenix because junior leagues finish at age 16. I played as goalkeeper for both the Youth and Reserves (under 23) teams and was the reserve goalkeeper for the league team, this was due to a lack of goalkeepers in the club. Not that I minded though. We played away games in Perth because we were in the Semi-Professional 1st Division state league. This meant seeing 8 suburbs of Perth and having road trips every second week.

I played a few social games of Night Soccer with my school mates, which was fun. Night soccer is held during the summer months around christmas and I hope to one day play it again. It is much like futsal, where each team consists of 7 players and one of those is the goalkeeper. Played on a small field, it is usally fast paced and an exiting game to both play and watch.

I Enrolled for TAFE in 2007 to be completing an IT course.
