duel- My biggest hurdle in life -duel
Internet Explorer is easily the worst computer program I have ever come across in my life.
What I want to do in life uses the internet, and more precisely, a web browser. I wish to be a Web Developer and the most important aspect of this career is designing websites. Once the website has been thought through, drafted both on paper and computer, designed using a Web Editor, filled with content, checked for errors, uploaded to the internet and checked once more, it can be viewed by the public and its target audience. Hypothetically you are a member of that audience and you are viewing that page on your computer, using one of many web browsers. You might be using Netscape Navigator and whilst viewing the page it seems that the text is not aligned correctly, and overall you feel like jumping from a tall building just to get away from it. Whatever you do, don't hurt the computer please. If you were using Firefox or possibly even the wretched Internet Explorer, you could have saved your life because the webpage would have behaved correctly.
The number of web browsers that exist can be matched with the number of media players there are, for example. Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Netscape Navigator, Apple Safari, Linux Konqueror, Avant Browser, Opera Browser and Maxthon are just some examples of web browsers. All but IE are free, bar Safari.
Internet Explorer is the most popular web browser, not due to its demand, but to being shipped with every copy of Microsoft Windows. Which if you have been living under a rock for the past 10 years, is the biggest computer software manufacturer in the world, and will continue to be past my lifetime.
"So what!" my superhero-like ears hear you mumble. Ill answer the 'what' part, if that was indeed a question. Every different web browser is made differently, by different people from different companies. So each browser reads a web document differently. I believe that Firefox reads every html document correctly and interprets it the way I want it to. IE is very similar, but it can actually do less than Firefox and interprets things differently, sometimes wrong.
To those who can't tell the difference between a Megabyte and a Gigabyte, a keyboard and mouse or windows and linux then use this example. The English read from left to right whereas the Jewish read from right to left, not to mention the different languaged text.

Now I could continue starting to name the flaws that IE possess, such as not displaying .png image transparency and not allowing a lot of the cool things you can do with text in a browser, but I shall refrain.
Please, for your own benefit, just use Firefox. If not, then the only person you can blame is yourself. Unless you'r at work, then I forgive you.

But alas I have fixed the IE problems with my websites template. IE made me do about an extra 5 hours of work on it. I've achieved victory so I am now going to retire as it is 5:21 am and I haven't yet slept. Though i'll most likely just watch the cricket.
Enjoy my page and go download Firefox please. Please. Google it if you have to.
